Safety in the Workplace

Everyone’s idea about safety in the workplace ranges from “common sense” to OSHA, to complex systems like ISO. But what really works?

This seminar will provide attendees with valuable in­sights into how to establish safety processes that work, focused on reducing accident and injury rates. Attendees will learn about developing a foundational safety pro­gram, how to effectively implement safety activities, and tips to integrate these activities into operations. Partici­pants will walk away with ideas to use in implementing their safety programs.

o Culture: what is needed to establish an actual safety culture and how does that work into employee performance


With over 30 years of experience, James has an exten­sive background in the field of Safety & Health. James is a Certified Safety Professional, the Regional Vice President of Region 1 for ASSE and the President of Boretti, Inc., a professional SH&E firm providing a broad range of technical and business safety solutions. He has successfully consulted with a wide range of cli­ents and industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, television, construction and agricultural environments. His efforts have resulted in measurable improved operational efficiency and productivity, lowered insur­ance rates, reduced claims frequency, and OSHA compliance.


Meal to be served at this event is a Tomato basil Italian sandwich served with tomato bisque soup.
